Rob's surgery
On January 17th Rob had his 4th retinal reattchment surgery since June. He has had a rough year for sure. The surgery went well, the initial plan was to cut away the periphery of his retina and just laser the retina down so that it would stay attached this time. They were pretty much counting on Rob not having any peripheral vision in his left eye after the surgery. When the Dr. got in there he cut away the scar tissue and the retina laid down really well on its own so they ended up not cutting away any of it. It has been about a month now and so far the everything is looking good. The scar tissue isn't forming as much as it has in the past which is promising. Rob is doing really well now, he is back to school. He still can't see out of his left eye, but that is normal. Anyway, keep him in your prayers. We went and waited at the hospital for a while and saw Rob when he came out of surgery. Max was very patient, he's a good kid. Here are some pictures of Max playing with his Grandpa.

I fell so bad for him, that has to be hard but I'm glad the surgery went well and hope it continues to heal.
